CITY HISTORY & DEVELOPMENT
Kfar HaOranim, also known as Menora or Giv'at Ehud, was established in 1997 by the Amana movement. Planning for the settlement began in 1981 under the name Giv'at Ehud, with the cornerstone laid in 1984. However, legal issues over land ownership delayed construction, and the first residents moved in during October 1997. The community is contiguous with Lapid and located near the major city of Modi'in, falling under the jurisdiction of Mateh Binyamin Regional Council.
