We’re Teneh Omarim – a warm, close-knit community in the heart of the Yatir region, just 20 minutes from Be’er Sheva. Close enough to enjoy the city, far enough for city noise to be just a rumor. Our community is like a classic order of falafel – a perfect blend of all the flavors that make up Israeli society.

Our new neighborhood is carefully designed along the mountainside with a breathtaking desert view – 135 earth-toned homes that look like the contractor and the desert decided to start an Instagram page together. The architectural vision is refreshingly original – homes are arranged in a fan shape, with each garden offering a unique perspective, perfect for stargazing right from your backyard. Life in Tene Omarim is like a meal at a great restaurant – there’s always room for a delightful dessert. Our community boasts a swimming pool with separate or mixed hours, a clinic, a synagogue, an active library, a gymboree, a petting zoo, and a fitness center.

We have open-minded secular residents, open-hearted religious residents, and everyone in between – plus a few residents who prefer to drop labels altogether. Most of us work in the northern Negev – in Be’er Sheva, at the Nuclear Research Center, or with nearby tech companies. We live together in harmony, each of us looking for a place to best express ourselves (only with a better view).
