Geulim was established on November 17, 1938, as a tower and stockade settlement by Jewish refugees from Germany, Austria, and Czechoslovakia. Initially named "Bnei Geulim," the founders relocated to Kfar Yedidia in 1945. Subsequently, members of the Talmon organization, comprising Yemenite immigrants, settled in the area, renaming it Talmon-Geulim, and later simply Geulim. During the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, the moshav was temporarily by Arab forces but was later reclaimed.
