Kadima-Zoran was established in 2003 through the merger of two neighboring communities: Kadima and Tzoran. Kadima, founded on July 5, 1933, as an agricultural settlement, was initiated by Yehoshua Hankin and primarily settled by German immigrants. Tzoran, meaning 'silicon,' was founded in 1992 and first populated in 1994. The unification of these two localities formed the current local council of Kadima-Zoran.
